Our Beliefs – Principles and Doctrines

We believe the bible (King James translation) to be the official authenticated document and believe it to be the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 15:4, 2 Peter 1:21, Revelation 22:18-19)

We believe in the Eternal Invisible God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, John 1:18, 1 Corinthians 1:1-3, 2 Corinthians 1:1-3, Galatians 1:1-5, Philippians 1:1-2, 1 Corinthians 15:23-28)

We believe in Jesus, the Son of God, sent to this earth to redeem man back to God the Father. There is no way back to God the Father but through his Son Jesus, he is the Way, the Truth and the Life. (John 14:6, John 5:37-39, John 6:48-51, John 10:7-16, John 11:25-26, John 15:1-7, Galatians 4:4-7, Galatians 3:6-14)

We believe in God’s divine covering of his people. This is manifest in the epistle to the Corinthian church. The head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 11:1-3, Exodus 13:20-22, Exodus 36:14-19, Isaiah 30:1, Isaiah 61:1-3, Luke 4:16-21)

We believe God has a divine government that is a servant to the body of Christ. God has given gifts (offices) to men. They are identified as Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. The right hand of God. This is outlined in the epistle to the Ephesians. The servants of God are to preach and teach the believers, through the scriptures, to become spiritually mature Christians. They are to work in the ministry to edify the body of Christ until we come to the unity of the faith. The believer is not to remain a child (spiritually), but is to grow up in all things, to become like Jesus. (Ephesians 4:1-16, Luke 6:13-16, Acts 1:13-26, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, 1 John 2:8-14, 1 Kings 18:41-46, 1 Corinthians 3:1-11, 1 Timothy 3:(whole chapter), Titus 1:4-9)

We believe a disciple must have faith toward God. (Hebrews 3:12-19, Hebrews 4:2,6-16, Hebrews
6:12, Hebrews 7:11-16, Hebrews 10:23, Hebrews 10:38, Hebrews 11:6 (whole chapter) Hebrews
12:1-3, Romans 10:17)

We believe in the doctrine of the baptisms as mentioned in Hebrews 6;1-3. The three baptisms are Water baptism, baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire baptism. (Water - Matthew 3:11-17, 1 Peter 3:20-21, Holy Ghost – Acts 2:1-4,38-39, Acts 10:37-48, John 7:37-39, Fire - Luke 12:49-50, Mark 10:35-40, 1 Peter 4:12-13)

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. (Luke 1:26-38, Matthew 1:18-25, Isaiah 7:14)

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
